Topics I'd like to write about...
...in 2007:
- Costumer service departments at banks, stores, power companies, insurance agents, etc etc finally realize that every time they treat a client badly they are pushing their brand one step closer to oblivion. And my loyalty closer to one of their competitors.
- How much i love my new Mac phone/Apple phone.
- Why Wired magazine (yes!) is the Fast Company of our time.
- How a new generation of web apps and services will make us forget all the useless, time wasting, less-than-functional "Web 2.0" sites that launched in 2006. True, lots of great ones launched too, but they're not the issue.
- What is the biggest threat to some of the smart Web 2.0 sites n services? Useless customer support. Combined with a blog that gets updated 15 times per day it's pretty clear who these "entrepreneurs" want to please. Hint: it's not you the user.
- The 49ers having a winning season, and the SF Giants winning 120 games.
Here's to 2007! Happy New Year a few days late.
